Approach and anchoring
Seabed of sand mixed with Posidonia seagrass. Anchoring on Posidonia is prohibited under French law since 2019 on the Mediterranean coast. Identify a sand patch before dropping. Shelter from N, NE, E and SE. Exposed to SW swell which is the prevailing bad-weather direction here.
Practical
Water available as indicated in the harbour data. Port of Cap d'Ail 1.3 nm east has 250 berths, fuel and full services. Port de Silva Maris 1.6 nm west is a smaller private harbour at Eze-sur-Mer.
Ashore
Sentier Le Corbusier coastal path runs from Cap d'Ail station along the shore, named after the architect who lived and died here in 1965 at the Cabanon de Roquebrune. The path links Cap d'Ail to Monaco in about 1 hour on foot.
