Mixed-use waterfront marina on the east shore of Lake Washington at Kirkland, Washington, opposite the Seattle skyline.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach across Lake Washington from the Seattle side, 4 NM west, or up the lake from the Ballard Locks via Lake Union. No tidal constraint, the lake is held at a constant level by the locks. The marina sits below the office and hotel complex at 4100 Carillon Point. Public guest pier on a first come first served basis, daytime use only.
Practical
225 private slips from 30 to 60 ft, taking boats up to 150 ft, currently let on a waitlist managed via Dockwa. Fuel berth, pump-out, marine store, showers and laundry. 24-hour camera-monitored gates on the pontoons. Kirkland Homeport Marina lies 1.2 NM north for additional capacity.
Ashore
Carillon Point complex itself has restaurants and a hotel directly above the pontoons. Marina Park and downtown Kirkland are at 1 km north along the lakefront promenade. The Cross Kirkland Corridor cycling and walking trail, on the former Eastside rail line, passes 600 m east of the marina.
