Approach and anchoring
Entry through the buoyed channel of the Seudre, with strong tidal streams and shifting banks. Passable near high water for most keelboats. Oyster park markers line both sides of the channel, give them a wide berth.
Practical

Ashore
Cabanes ostréicoles of La Tremblade and Ronce-les-Bains along the Seudre, with tastings in season. Viaduc de la Seudre, completed in 1972, visible upstream. Sandy beach of Ronce-les-Bains at 3 km by road on the northern side of the estuary.
