Approach and anchoring
Enter from the SE, mid-channel, keeping clear of the rocks that line both headlands. Seabed is rock with patches of posidonia: drop the anchor on sand only. The site is inside the Natura 2000 zone FR9301997, so ecological mooring buoys are in place during the season.
Practical
Day anchorage, sheltered from NW, N and NE winds. Open to southerlies and to swell. Fallback to Port Athena 1.1 NM SE or to La Madrague de Saint-Cyr 1.4 NM NW. No services on site.
Ashore
Footpath through the pine wood up to the ONF car park in about 10 min. Sentier du littoral links the calanque to La Madrague de Saint-Cyr to the west and to the beach of La Moutte to the east. Domaine du Port d'Alon vineyard 800 m inland, AOC Bandol.
