Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west in daylight. No lit marks. Watch for isolated rocks off the headlands either side of the cove. Drop anchor on the sand between the rocky edges in 4 to 8 metres.
Practical
Anchorage only, no facilities ashore. Holding on sand, shelter from NE through SE to SW. Exposed to W and NW swell. Nearest refuge is Tizzano 4.3 NM SE, Porto Pollo 6.7 NM N.
Ashore
Undeveloped coastline of the Sartenais. Coastal footpath of the Mare e Monti Sud runs inland. Prehistoric site of Cauria with the Palaghju alignment of standing stones lies about 4 km inland from Tizzano.
