Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from seaward with care, keeping a watch for outlying rocks off the headlands. No buoyage. Tizzano harbour lies 4.2 NM to the SE and Porto Pollo 7.1 NM to the N. The bay is exposed to the libeccio from the SW and should be left if that wind is forecast.

Practical

Forain anchorage on rock, so drop in sand patches where visible and dive to check the anchor. No services on site. Nearest provisioning at Tizzano or Campomoro.

Ashore

Stretch of coast within the Natura 2000 site of the Sartenais coastline. The Sentier du Littoral runs along the headlands and connects to Campomoro tower, a 16th century Genoese watchtower 4 km to the north.
