Approach and anchoring
Direct access to Lake Pontchartrain from the 17th Street Canal. The marina has two floating pontoons with around 40 recreational berths, alongside fishing boat slips.
Practical
Water, sewer and shore power at the berths. Paved parking, portable toilets and three covered shelters ashore. A boardwalk and lakeside walking trail run along the harbour park.
History
Jefferson Parish opened the marina in 2012 within a 16 hectare harbour park. The southernmost pontoon houses the Bucktown Historic Fishing Fleet, displaced from its old moorings by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
