Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from offshore, keeping clear of the Rocher du Belvédère that marks the eastern side of the bay. The holding is sand. Shelter from NW through S to SE sectors only. Exposed to easterly and south-easterly swell, clear out towards Bormes port if the wind veers east.
Practical
Open roadstead with no shoreside services. Closest facilities are the marina of Bormes-les-Mimosas 0.2 nm south and Le Lavandou 0.8 nm NE, both offering fuel, water and chandlery.
Ashore
Tender landing possible at La Favière beach to the south, from where the centre of Bormes-les-Mimosas medieval village sits 2 km inland up a steep road. Coastal path GR 51 passes behind the bay and links Cap Bénat to Le Lavandou.
