Approach and anchoring
On the Barbour River, which leads to Sapelo Sound and then the Atlantic. Sapelo and Blackbeard Islands lie a short run beyond the sound. Roughly eight miles from Interstate 95.
Practical
Members' club capped at 155 families. Self-service launching at no charge with twin 3-ton electric hoists, plus covered boat storage stalls. Goulds Landing is an old settlement marked by mature live oaks.
Ashore
The Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge adjoins the club. Its roughly 2,800 acres of salt marsh, woodland and freshwater pools draw wading birds and wintering waterfowl, with marked trails and a wildlife drive.
