Approach and anchoring

Lake Huron entrance at the Au Sable River mouth, then upstream past the US 23 bridge. The marina sits on the south bank just below the bridge. River bottom is sandy, with seasonal silting that may reduce depths to around 1.5 metres at the entrance. Aluminium finger pontoons with seasonal wooden extensions adjust to the river level.

Practical

104 slips, owner-controlled access through a security gate. Water, shore power and wifi at each berth. Shared beach access on Lake Huron and shared restrooms via the sister condominium campground. Winter dry storage on site. DNR public launch ramp adjacent. No fuel berth.

Ashore

Oscoda village centre at 1 km along the river, with grocery, pubs and the AuSable Riverboat paddlewheel landing for tours of the lower river. Sandy Lake Huron beach at the river mouth at 300 m, public access. River Road National Scenic Byway starts at the bridge and runs 35 km inland through the Huron National Forest.
