Guide

Approach and anchoring

Access from the Pertuis Breton through the Fier d'Ars, a shallow lagoon buoyed with lateral marks. Entrance through a lock that opens roughly 2 hours either side of high water. Approach the lagoon on a rising tide and follow the marked channel. VHF 9 for the harbour office.

Practical

550 berths including visitor places on the main pontoons. Water and electricity at the berths, fuel berth, sanitary block with showers. Village shops, bakery and market within 300 m of the basin.

Ashore

Saturday and Wednesday market on place Carnot, 250 m from the quay. The bell tower of Saint-Étienne church, painted black and white as a daymark, stands 400 m from the harbour. Cycle path along the former salt marshes toward Loix, 4 km east.
