Approach and anchoring
Approach from the main Morbihan channel between Île-aux-Moines and Arradon. Tidal streams in the gulf run up to 8 knots at springs near the narrows at Port-Navalo, so time the entry for slack or a following current. Mud bottom, holding good. Water point ashore at the Port-Blanc slip.
Practical
Open roadstead, no marina infrastructure. Protection from SW, W and NW. Exposed to E and SE winds funnelling through the gulf. Ferry shuttles between Port-Blanc and the Île-aux-Moines run every 30 minutes in season, so keep the fairway clear.
