Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south-west across the gulf. Sheltered from N and NE winds, open to the south and the libeccio that builds quickly in the Golfe de Valinco in the afternoon. Sand holding is reported as good. Keep off the bathing area limits in summer.
Practical
Beach restaurant and small campsite ashore in season. Porto Pollo 2.5 NM west for a fuel pontoon and small-harbour services. Port de Propriano 2.7 NM south-east for a 450-berth marina, fuel, water and a full town.
Ashore
Sandy beach directly in front of the anchorage. Coastal walk west along the shore of the Taravo estuary, a Natura 2000 wetland known for wintering waders.
