Guide
Approach and anchoring
Sand and weed bottom. Sheltered from NW through N and E to SE, open to the south-west. The bay lies inside the Canal Luis Peña Natural Reserve, designated in 1999: all fishing is prohibited, anchoring is allowed on sand only and the DRNA mooring buoys are there to spare the coral.
Practical
One mooring buoy for visitors, and anchoring permitted on sand. Snorkellers find the reef at either end of the beach, and tour operators report green and hawksbill turtles feeding there.
