Guide
Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom. Sheltered from N through E to SE, open to the west. The bay lies inside the Canal Luis Peña Natural Reserve, designated in 1999: all fishing is prohibited, anchoring is allowed on sand only and the DRNA mooring buoys are there to spare the coral.
Practical
One mooring buoy and anchoring on sand. Rock formations, soft coral and seagrass in 4.5 to 7.5 metres off the beach. Shade trees and picnic tables ashore, and Dewey is about 1 km away on foot.
