Approach and anchoring

Sand lies thin over rock, among posidonia, weed and pale pebbles that look like sand. Many boats need several attempts to set the anchor. Anchor only on clear sand in 3 to 5 m, further into the bay where the sand improves. Exposed and submerged rocks lie around the bay, and not all are charted. Enter down the middle, as a catamaran hit a rock on the west side in 2023. An E swell can make it roll.

Practical

Park rangers check permits. The daily fee was 50 euros for a 14 m boat from June 2025. A 2024 ban on night anchoring for non-residents was provisionally suspended by the regional court from 25 June 2025, so check the current rules. The Panoramica bus stops at the top of the hill, 1.5 euros in 2023. Mobile signal was weak in 2022. In 2026 a resort beach ran loudspeaker games all day.

Ashore

The restaurant La Penisola 41.9, at the head of the bay, collects diners by tender. Buoys line the beach, with a small channel on the west side where a holiday club stands.
