Mooring area on the Aven river in Brittany, with about 200 berths and up to 1.5 m draught.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
River access via the Aven from Port Manec'h, 1.2 NM to the south. Port de Kerdruc lies 0.1 NM to the west. The tidal stream runs up to 3 knots and makes berthing manoeuvres tricky.
Practical
Most moorings are allocated to local boats and there are only about two visitor buoys, though in May there is usually room; boats make fast fore and aft between them and rafting up alongside is not allowed. Dinghy pontoons on each bank. The toilets on the Rosbras bank are clean, those on the far bank are closed. The harbour office is lightly staffed and gives little information.
Ashore
The Auberge de Kerdruc, across the river at Kerdruc, serves meals a short dinghy ride away.
