Small harbour of 14 berths on the Corniche de Sète, south of the city of Sète in Occitanie.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Narrow basin with max draught 1.5 m, prone to silting, exposed entrance facing the Gulf of Lion. Approach only in settled weather, strong southerlies and easterlies raise swell across the entrance. Sète harbour lies 1.6 NM to the east as the main refuge.
Practical
14 berths, minimal services, run by the municipality. Because of silting, sailing boats have at times been turned away, so contact the port before arriving. A few shops and a restaurant are nearby. Use Sète or the Port à sec at 1.5 NM north for fuel, haul-out and full provisioning. Bus link along the Corniche to the city centre.
Ashore
Plage des Quilles is 100 m from the port, sand and pebble. Mont Saint-Clair at 175 m rises behind the Corniche, 2 km by road, with views over the Étang de Thau and the Gulf of Lion.
