Approach and anchoring

Enter the port of Sète by the main harbour entrance between the east and west breakwaters. Contact port control on VHF 12 before entering. The marina lies inside the commercial basin, close to the Quai d'Alger 0.3 NM to the SW.

Practical

17 berths sized for superyachts, alongside on a concrete quay, with a clubhouse, gym and good wifi. Mains water and three-phase power, though a 16 or 32 amp supply needs a hired power box, and ancillary charges are set for large yachts. Smaller boats are taken mainly when the main Sète marina is full. A fuel berth is available in the port, whose fuel depot sits alongside. Port de commerce adjoins the marina and Bassin du Midi lies 0.5 NM to the north for smaller craft and additional services.

Ashore

Sète town centre is about 10 minutes on foot from the basin, or a short tender ride, with the covered market Les Halles and the Musée Paul Valéry on Mont Saint-Clair within 2 km. The Canal Royal and its bridges cross the old town between the port and the Étang de Thau.
