Guide
Approach and anchoring
Boats anchor in 10 to 14 m on mud and sand, beyond the buoy field. The anchor held in 20 kn at 14 m in July 2026. Off the south side of the islet of Serena the bottom rises from 10 m to under 2 m almost at once. Murky water hides the bottom. Private buoys take up much of the bay, leaving limited room to anchor. A channel along the south side leads to the small harbour.
Practical
In 2026 about ten private mooring buoys cost 50 euros a night. In 2025 no booking was needed and the fee was collected in the morning. Tenders land on the beach. A shop at the next beach, about 10 minutes on foot, sells fresh produce, cheese, cured meats and wine on tap. Beach bars played loud music until 02:00 in June 2025 and until 04:00 in September 2025.
