Guide
Approach and anchoring
About ten park buoys were in place in June 2026, after none at the end of May. Anchor in 4 to 7 m on small sand patches among posidonia, rock and blocks. The anchor may need several tries on the rocky sand. Avoid relying on it in over 30 kn. Between 10:00 and 15:00 in August, use the western entrance, as day boats run through the southern one. Day boats arrive from about 09:30 and leave around 18:00. The red buoys belong to the restaurant.
Practical
Park fees are paid in advance online, which costs less, and a fine can follow without them. One yacht paid 30 euros for 7 days in October 2025, with discounts. A French-flagged yacht was charged 72 euros for 12 hours in June 2026. Guardia di Finanza patrols can board yachts and check papers. A UK yacht was asked for a constituto in May 2026. An ice cream and rotisserie boat passes in summer.
Ashore
Landing on the islands around the anchorage is forbidden, and rangers patrol the beaches. A dinghy can reach a small cove just before Spiaggia Rosa, where a wooden walkway leads to the pink beach. Sandy pools under 1 m deep lie to the N and NE for snorkelling. The restaurant on Santa Maria collects guests by tender and golf cart.
