Approach and anchoring

Boats lie stern-to with lazy lines along the town quay, packed close together. Marina boatmen meet arrivals at the entrance and take lines, and boats may queue to enter. In July 2026 a 45 ft catamaran was given a single lazy line in 30 kn. The basin is sheltered from westerlies, with 15 kn inside against 25 kn outside in June 2026. VHF calls can go unanswered.

Practical

Berths are not booked ahead. Call on the morning of arrival, from 9:30 in June 2026. The office closed at 14:00 in May 2026. A night cost 20 euros with water and power in April 2026, and 55 euros for a 12.9 m yacht in June 2026. Paid toilets, showers and laundry stand across the basin, at 1.50, 3 and 3 euros in 2025. Archipelago permits are sold at the park office behind the quay road.

Ashore

Shops, restaurants and bars line the main road off the quay, with a chandlery across the road and a small Conad nearby. La Grotta is a pricier restaurant. Bikes and scooters can be hired to tour the island. In October 2025 an easterly carried fumes from idling ferries at the terminal east of the port across the town.
