Small port on Île Saint-Honorat in the Lérins islands off Cannes, managed by the city of Cannes, used mainly by tenders and small craft up to 8 m to land and visit the monastery island.

Approach and anchoring

A small port on the north side of Saint-Honorat, reached from the channel between the two Lérins islands. It takes tenders and small craft up to 8 m only, so watch the depth and the outboard draught on the way in. Since the 2026 refit the free berths are on one side of the port, each fitted with a mooring line, while the other side is reserved for the Cannes maritime safety craft and the island supply boat, the Bateau des Moines.

Practical

Berthing is free but limited to boats under 8 m and, in the past, to about six hours in any 24, with the town of Cannes checking daily. The 2026 refit removed the water taps and shower that used to stand by the port, so there are now no services on the quay. A snack bar and restaurant open at lunchtime, and there is an abbey shop.

Ashore

Saint-Honorat is the monastery island of the Lérins, still occupied by a religious community. From the port a footpath loops the whole island in about an hour.
