Approach and anchoring
Approach across Arcachon Bay from the Teychan channel. The bay dries over wide banks at low water, so time arrival within two hours of high water. The harbour has been left largely unmaintained, the approach channel is no longer clearly marked and the basin has silted, so sound in with care rather than trusting the old leads. Check tide tables before committing to the final approach.
Practical
Diesel available on the fuel berth. Water and electricity on the pontoons. Club Nautique Taussat-Cassy lies 0.5 NM to the SE and Port du Bétey 1.1 NM to the NW if space is tight.
