Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south keeping clear of the rocks off Pointe de Gourmalon. A buoyed strip within 300 metres of the beach is closed to navigation and anchoring at least in July and August, so anchor outside it in 3 to 5 metres at low water on mud. Charted submarine pipelines lie off the beach, keep clear. Open to SW swell. Port de Pornic lies 0,2 NM E and Port de Gourmalon 0,5 NM E for shelter.
Ashore
Sandy beach of la Noëveillard is supervised in summer. Water point on the beach. Sentier des douaniers runs along the clifftop towards the Pointe de Gourmalon and Pornic castle. Old town of Pornic with shops and market 1 km east.
