Marina in the sheltered inlet of Porto Pozzo on the north-east coast of Sardinia, near Santa Teresa Gallura. 400 berths, depths up to 2 metres and VHF channel 9.

Approach and anchoring

The long inlet is sheltered from swell. A 3 kn limit applies in the port, yet fast boats entering and leaving still sent wash through the berths in 2024. Call VHF 9 before arrival. In 2024 berths for 2 m draught were few and had to be booked ahead. Depth is about 2 m at best for keel boats, and just under 1 m at the crane. Marina boatmen meet boats and take lines. Mooring buoys are also laid.

Practical

Water and power posts on the pontoons. In August 2024 a 10.8 m yacht paid 110 euros. A buoy cost 35 euros in June 2024, with no shore taxi. In 2024 sailing yachts were charged a higher rate, 55 euros instead of 43 in September. No showers in June 2024, only toilets at the bar. In September 2024 the fuel station was built but unlicensed, and fuel meant a run to Palau.

Ashore

The village has a small supermarket, a bakery selling ice cream and a few restaurants. Bassa Marea is 5 minutes' walk away, and Da Battino Antonio is on the beach. A bus runs to Santa Teresa Gallura, which has an archaeological site. By dinghy, a beach in the bay to the east, reached between two white buoys, opens onto walking country in the dunes.
