Guide
Approach and anchoring
The prefectoral order of 12 October 2023 sets sixteen buoyed zones in the 300 m strip from Pointe Marin to Pointe Dunkerque: swimming areas, motor-free zones, a water-ski lane, access channels and two no-anchoring zones. Inside all of them speed is limited to 3 knots and anchoring is banned, so drop the hook outside the yellow buoys. Speed is also limited to 5 knots between Îlet Duquesnay, the MA4 mark and the Club Med pontoon.
Practical
Beach and pontoon for the dinghy, with water available according to Navily. Marina du Marin is 1.5 miles to the north-east.
Ashore
The sand beach of Pointe Marin runs for more than a kilometre south towards the bourg of Sainte-Anne.
