Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach on sight from the east. Flat sand bottom with good holding, anchor in about 3 to 6 m. Shelter from NW, W and SW, fully exposed to the east and to the libeccio swell that wraps round from the south. The roadstead rolls readily even in light weather and is easier in a multihull than a monohull. The ground a little to the north is better protected but closed off by yellow buoys. Leave early if an easterly is forecast.
Practical
No facilities. Port Taverna 8.9 NM north is the nearest marina with fuel, water and electricity. Solenzara 21.2 NM south is the next full-service harbour heading down the coast.
Ashore
Long sand beach along the shore, backed by the Étang de Diana and the Bravone lagoon, a listed Natura 2000 wetland known for wading birds.
