Approach and anchoring

In 2019 VHF 11 directed visitors to the breakwater pontoon. Marina boatmen meet boats and assist berthing on lazy lines. Space is tight for berths at the head of the harbour. With a rough sea, surge can run inside. It was often full in summer 2021. In settled weather boats can anchor overnight in the wide outer harbour.

Practical

In April 2023 a night cost 140 euros. A 19 m catamaran paid 175 euros the same month, including water and 16 A and 32 A power. A short stop of a few hours for shopping and water was free in 2023. The toilets were in poor condition in 2023, and the showers were hot in 2025. WiFi worked in 2021. A technician was found within minutes in 2023.

Ashore

The centre of Santa Margherita Ligure is a short walk away, with shops, restaurants and a daily fish market. Ferries run to Portofino and buses to Rapallo. Seaside walks follow the shore.
