Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach with tide tables in hand and pick a low tidal coefficient, as the stream runs hard between the islets. Strong tidal streams run through the Chenal du Four, up to 4 knots at springs. The bottom is sand off the north end of the beach and weed to the south, with gravel out in the channel between Litiri and Quéménès, so work in towards the sand where draught allows. Drop the hook on the east side in settled weather, where there is better cover from the current. Shelter from NE to SE only. Watch the Grande Vinotière cardinal to the north and the Saint-Paul rocks to the south.
Practical
No facilities ashore. Day stop only. Le Conquet lies 4.5 nm east for water, fuel and shops. L'Aber Ildut 7.8 nm NE as an alternative harbour.
