Approach and anchoring

On the Petite Saone between Corre 7.3 NM N, head of navigation and junction with the Canal des Vosges, and Port-sur-Saone downstream. Freycinet gauge, manual or automatic locks operated by VNF. No VHF watch, lock call via intercom or rod.

Practical

Short wooden pontoon for a few boats. Water point available in season. Electricity bollard reported. Village of Fouchecourt has no shops, nearest bakery and grocery at Jussey, 5 km by road.

Ashore

A restaurant by the pontoon serves food in the evening only. Towpath along the Saône open to walkers and cyclists, on the EuroVelo 6 Atlantic to Black Sea route. Chassey-les-Scey woods and meadows around the river offer quiet walks. Corre basin 7.3 NM N is the start of the Canal des Vosges toward the Moselle.
