Stretch of the Saône river near the village of Cendrecourt in Haute-Saône, on the Petite Saône between Corre and Port-sur-Saône.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
River navigation only, no tide. Mooring is prohibited on this stretch, so no anchoring or tying up; continue to an authorised halte fluviale before stopping. A wooden pier stands on the bank, but the river shoals right alongside it: even drawing 1.6 m a boat can only nose its bow to the bank, while the channel offshore holds about 3 m, and the mud can leave a hull sitting aground.
Practical
No water or power on site. A supermarket, an Aldi, lies about 1 km from the bank. Nearest stops are Halte Fluviale de Fouchécourt 4.4 NM SE and Marina de Corre 5.2 NM NE, both with visitor berths on the Petite Saône.
