Approach and anchoring

In August 2025 boats had to arrive early to hope for a berth. In 2026 visitors were placed near the entrance, with noise from passing boats and tripper boat traffic close by. Marina staff help with berthing. Wind and sea from the east can send some surge into the harbour. In 2023 the outer floating pontoon was uncomfortable in heavy swell. The first pontoon at the entrance was slippery in an easterly swell in 2023.

Practical

Bookings went through the online portal espaceclient.ports-monaco.com or by email in 2025. In 2023 several forms had to be filed before arrival, online or at the harbour office, and a Monaco courtesy flag was required. A 14 m multihull paid 617 euros for three nights in 2025, water and power included. A shore power adapter was lent against a 100 euro deposit in 2023. Fuel and pump-out were at Port Hercule in 2024.

Ashore

Naval museum and the prince's vintage car collection within 500 metres. Princess Grace Rose Garden in the Fontvieille park, 300 metres from the marina. A large Carrefour stands in the shopping centre by the marina. Lifts starting from the Carrefour give a quick way into town. The palace, the gardens and the oceanographic museum are about 20 minutes on foot. Monte Carlo is 25 to 30 minutes on foot.
