Refit yard and work dock on the west shore of the Cul-de-Sac du Marin, beside Marina du Marin in the south of Martinique.

Approach and anchoring

Make for the Morne de la Pointe Borgnesse, pick up buoy MA2, then follow the marked channel on 073 degrees towards Pointe Marin. After MA4, steer 050 degrees for Pointe Cailloux, pass the Banc Major light and turn north, leaving Banc du Milieu and MA7 to port. Martinique uses IALA B: red marks to starboard when entering. The yard lies 0.2 miles north of the Le Marin west mooring field. Speed is limited to 5 knots north of the MA8 mark.

Practical

Two travel lifts of 80 and 440 tonnes; the larger one takes beams up to 14 m and draughts up to 5 m. Dry berths for yachts up to 50 m on six acres of hard standing, fourteen workshops covering rigging, sails, engines, composites and electronics, a chandlery and a 1,600 ft work dock.
