Cove on Budelli in the La Maddalena archipelago national park, Sardinia, next to the Spiaggia Rosa. Sand bottom, sheltered from NW through SW, exposed to the eastern sector.

Approach and anchoring

Yellow park buoys lie in the cove. Tour boats use them for snorkelling stops by day. In 2024 yachts could take them from 5 pm to 9 am. Otherwise anchor in 3 to 10 m on sand patches among the posidonia. Rocks line one side and the bottom drops quickly in the middle. Westerly gusts of 30 kn left the cove comfortable in 2021. In June 2026 tour boats and RIBs streamed through at speed from 11 am to 4 pm.

Practical

A park permit, paid online in advance, is required for any stop, and patrol boats check boat names. A sailing yacht paid about 64 euros for a week in 2024, after a 40 percent discount for sail. In 2025 a boat without an online permit paid a 40 percent surcharge, 64 euros for a lunch stop.

Ashore

Landing on the Spiaggia Rosa is forbidden, as on the Spiaggia del Cavaliere, and guards ashore and afloat enforce it. Access was closed for regeneration in August 2025. A walk from the cove leads within sight of the pink beach, which can also be seen by dinghy. The Piscine pools are reachable by tender.
