Small cove of Cala Aiacciolu on Isola Santa Maria, in the La Maddalena archipelago park off the north coast of Sardinia. Sand and rock bottom. Sheltered on almost all sides, open to the west.

Approach and anchoring
Eight mooring buoys were in place in June 2026. Park rules then required boats to be on a buoy after 22:00 and to carry black-water tanks. Do not anchor on the posidonia. Sand in 4 m gives good holding. In 2022 a red buoy belonged to a restaurant, and a yacht was asked to leave it around 21:00. In 2020 a restaurant asked 50 euros for a stay on its buoy.
Practical
Access to the La Maddalena park requires a permit bought online. The cove fills by day, even on weekdays in June 2026. A small jetty takes dinghies.
Ashore
Footpaths cross Isola Santa Maria. In October 2024 tourist boats from Santa Maria beach arrived around 10:00. In 2019 Restaurant La Casitta collected crews from their yachts on request and drove them up by golf buggy. It had no menu, and a meal cost about 200 to 300 euros a head.
