Approach and anchoring
Anchoring is not permitted inside the bassin des Tellines, a ban set by prefectoral decree and enforced on the water. Abandoned and wrecked boats litter the basin. The basin gives onto the port complex of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, gateway between the Rhône and the Mediterranean via the écluse de Port-Saint-Louis. Bottom mixed sand, rock and algae.
Practical
Use the neighbouring marinas instead. Port Navy Service lies 0.2 NM to the SW, and the Pôle Nautisme Mer de Port-Saint-Louis is 0.4 NM to the W, both offering berths, water and electricity.
