Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the open lake, keeping clear of the shallows close inshore. No tide. Strong afternoon thermal wind from the south, known locally as la Vent du Midi, makes entry easier in the morning.
Practical
Pontoons for local members mostly. Visitor places limited and best checked ahead. Village of Sévrier 600 m away with bakery, supermarket and restaurants.
Ashore
Voie Verte du Lac d'Annecy cycle path runs along the shore right past the port, 33 km between Annecy and Doussard. Musée de la Cloche at 400 m documents the Paccard bell foundry that cast the Savoyarde of Sacré-Coeur. Plage de Sévrier 700 m to the north.
