Small pontoon on the west shore of Lac d'Annecy at Sévrier, Haute-Savoie, a few kilometres south of Annecy.

Guide

Approach and anchoring

Open approach on the lake, no tide, no current. Watch for sudden afternoon thermal winds from the south and for swimmers in summer. No night lighting.

Practical

Short pontoon used mainly for day stops. No fuel, no electricity. Shops, bakery and restaurants in Sévrier village within 500 m.

Ashore

Voie verte du lac runs along the shore at the pontoon, linking Annecy to the north and Doussard to the south on a former railway line. Musée de la Cloche at the Paccard foundry in Sévrier, about 1 km south.
