Approach and anchoring

Approach from the Étang de Thau by the marked channel of Balaruc. Very shallow water, maximum draught 0.40 m at the pontoon. Moorings are available for boats having work done, and boats can anchor in the small bay while waiting for the crane. Exposed to the tramontane from the north-west.

Practical

One berth reserved for workshop clients, fuel pump on the quay. The yard has a crane for stepping and unstepping masts and lets owners work on their own boats, with help on hand. Haul-out is possible and prices are reasonable. Town centre of Balaruc-les-Bains and thermal baths within 600 m.

Ashore

Thermes O'Balia and the Balaruc thermal spa at 500 m. Sentier du tour de l'étang starts at the port and runs along the Thau lagoon for 60 km. Shellfish farms and oyster tables of Bouzigues visible across the lagoon 2 NM to the north.
