Approach and anchoring

Sète lies on the Canal Maritime linking the Mediterranean to the Étang de Thau. Enter the lagoon via the pass at Les Quilles or through the commercial harbour locks. Bassin du Midi is 0,5 nm south and Les Eaux Blanches basin 0,7 nm east serve as floating moorings nearby. Maximum draught accepted 2,1 m.

Practical

Port à sec with 50 racked spaces and launch on request by travel hoist. No afloat berthing. Usual service is lift-out storage with splash for outings. A working boatyard on site, Navibois, handles repairs, refits and drying out. Fuel, chandlery and supermarkets in the Sète port area within 1 km.

Ashore

Mont Saint-Clair hike to the chapel at 175 m, 2 km from the facility, panoramic view over Thau and the Gulf of Lion. Halles de Sète covered market on rue Gambetta, open every morning, known for tielle and oyster stalls from Bouzigues on the lagoon 8 km north.
