Anchorage on the west coast of Corsica, 4.4 NM SW of Calvi, with a mix of sand and rock on the bottom.

Approach and anchoring
Approach from seaward with a lookout for rocky patches under the surface. The bottom is mostly pebble, with only a narrow strip of sand in the middle of the bay in around 9 to 10 m that deepens to about 18 m, so drop on that patch. There is room for just 2 to 4 boats, and a small buoy in the middle serves a fishing boat, not yachts. Sheltered from W, SW, S, SE and E, but fully open to N and NE, so clear out if the wind backs north. A light land breeze sets in at sunset.
Practical
Open roadstead with no facilities ashore. Nearest refuges are Calvi 4.4 NM NE for fuel, water and provisioning, or Galéria 6.3 NM S for a quieter stop.
