Family-run boatyard on Jones Creek at the mouth of the Patapsco River, Sparrows Point, Maryland.

Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Chesapeake Bay through the Patapsco and into Jones Creek by a well-marked channel. The creek is sheltered, with about 6 feet of water at mean low water.
Practical
Seasonal berths, winter storage and haul-out for vessels up to about 40 feet, with a 15-ton open-ended travel lift. Repair and maintenance service on site.
History
Opened in 1945 by Harry Young, a sailor and boat builder who chose Jones Creek for its shelter. Phil Young took over the yard in 1984, rebuilt the piers and added the travel lift.
