Approach and anchoring
Enter from Lake Michigan between the St. Joseph North Pier lights, which form a range: when the two towers line up vertically you are aligned with the river entrance. Approach depth is about 6.7 metres, dockside depth about 2.4 metres. The marina sits just inside the pier heads.
Practical
Ninety seasonal and ten transient berths for boats from 30 to 50 feet. Shore power at 20, 30 and 50 amp, water, free WiFi, pump-out, heads, showers and free laundry. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol. A courtesy shuttle and loan bicycles serve the town. Reservations through the Michigan DNR system.
Ashore
Tiscornia Park public beach is one block from the marina. Downtown St. Joseph, with shops and restaurants, is a short walk up the bluff.
