Approach and anchoring
Make the St. Joseph River entrance between the breakwaters off Lake Michigan, keeping the inner and outer pier lights in transit. The river mouth is shallow and shifting, so stay in the dredged channel before turning up to Marina Island.
Practical
Seasonal and transient berths for boats up to 60 feet. Fuel berth on site, ship store with snacks and ice, two air-conditioned heads with showers and a riverside pool. Indoor and outdoor storage plus full repair and maintenance, with a fish cleaning station. Office closed Wednesday and Sunday.
Ashore
Downtown St. Joseph lies within a few minutes by car, with restaurants and shops. Silver Beach on Lake Michigan and its carousel are close by.
