Approach and anchoring

Enter the St. Joseph River from Lake Michigan between the breakwaters, holding the pier light range, then follow the river up to the marina. River depths have run low in recent seasons, so check the latest soundings before committing with a deep draught.

Practical

206 wet berths including about 15 transient, for boats up to 50 feet. Around 60 dry storage spaces, two bath houses with showers, a pool and a ship store. Boatyard handles engine work, detailing, bottom painting and structural repairs.

History

Brian and Patti Jewell started the business in 1981 servicing marine engines. They bought the 10-acre marina in 1986 and grew it from 86 berths to over 200.
