Town-run transient docks on the north shore of the Pamlico River in Washington, North Carolina, about 25 nautical miles inland from the Intracoastal Waterway.

Approach and anchoring
Approach up the Pamlico River from the ICW. Hail the dock attendant on VHF 16 as you pass through the railway trestle, where they will report wind and current and take your lines. The waterfront sits along Stewart Parkway.
Practical
Berths run alongside bulkhead docks with water and 30 and 50 amp shore power. Free Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, laundry, a pump-out station and loaner bicycles for guests. Transient rate around 1.25 dollars per foot per night, day dockage about 10 dollars. Dockmaster reachable on 252 940 1231.
Ashore
Restaurants, shops and a brewery line the historic district within a block of the docks. The North Carolina Estuarium, a museum on the Pamlico and Tar river estuary, stands a short walk west along the waterfront.
