Full-service marina and boatyard on the western shore of Broad Creek, off the north side of the Pamlico River, about 8 miles east of Washington, North Carolina.

Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Pamlico River by turning into Broad Creek on the north bank. Working VHF channel 16. Maximum draught at the berths is around 1.83 metres.

Practical

Around 180 berths for transient and resident boats, with shore power, water, internet and cable. The on-site boatyard handles haul-out, repairs and storage. Fuel is available on the dock. Office staffed Monday to Saturday, Sunday by appointment.

History

The marina was built in the 1950s as the area's Chris-Craft dealership, with covered slips to shelter wooden boats. Those covers have since been replaced with open berths. Mark Henley has owned and run the yard since 1993.
