Small fishing cove wedged between cliffs on the Corniche Kennedy in Marseille, west of the Anse de la Fausse Monnaie.

Approach and anchoring
Narrow entrance opening south under the Corniche Kennedy viaduct. Shallow basin used by pointus and small craft, no visitor berths. Swell enters from SW. Port Anse de la Réserve and the MPM marinas lie 0.7 NM NE for overnight stops.
Practical
Cove reserved for local fishermen and rowing clubs. No fuel, water or services for visiting yachts. Use neighbouring Marseille marinas for provisioning.
Ashore
Chez Fonfon and Chez Jeannot serve bouillabaisse on the quay. The Corniche Kennedy pedestrian promenade runs to the Palais du Pharo 1.5 km east. Plage des Catalans beach lies 700 m NE.
History
The name comes from the Provençal word auffo, the esparto grass once woven into ropes by local rope-makers. The cove was a working fishing hamlet from the 19th century and was overbuilt by the Corniche viaduct in 1863.
