Approach and anchoring

Reached from Lake Michigan up Trail Creek, less than ten minutes upriver past the Washington Park harbour. Floating docks with a dockside depth of about 1.2 metres, suited to boats up to roughly 25ft.

Practical

Two transient berths among the seasonal ones. Shore power at 30 amp, fresh water, pump-out, restrooms and showers, internet and ice. Run by the Michigan City Port Authority, which also offers winter storage and bottom cleaning. Open from 1 April to late October.
